Jack Hoban served as a  US Marine Captain and is a long time practitioner of martial arts. He assisted in the creation of the US Marine Corps Martial Arts Program (MCMAP) & remains subject matter expert (SME) for the program. He is a master instructor in Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu under Grand Master Masaaki Hatsumi in Japan. He is also a student of the late Robert Humphrey, a noted conflict resolution specialist.  Jack’s approach to teaching martial arts in context of the 
Ethical Warrior is known world-wide. He has three published books and four videos on martial arts and has written numerous articles for international magazines and military journals on combatives and warrior ethics.
Craig Gray is a mixed martial arts pioneer, having trained with Rickson Gracie, Royce Gracie and Carlos "Caique" Elais.  He is also a certified Krav Maga instructor under Moshe Katz and Itay Gil (from the History Channel's Human Weapon). He combines over 30 years of martial arts experience as a student, competitor and instructor with many real life experiences. Craig has trained in a wide variety of groundfighting, grappling and striking arts spanning traditional, sport and tactical combative 
systems. Craig teaches on-going civilian defensive classes, works with numerous law enforcement personnel  from around the state of Michigan, and is a defensive tactics and warrior ethics instructor at the Homeland Security and Protective Services Academy within the Gerald R. Ford Job Corps.

The seminar will be conducted in a non-competitive, supportive environment and will cover training drills and scenarios addressing threats from standing, clinching and ground positions against singular and multiple aggressors, both unarmed and armed. You will learn options on how to deal with numerous situations of varying degrees of intensity. 
This seminar is open to all adults ages 16 and older. Civilian, law enforcement and military personnel are encouraged and welcome. No experience necessary. All martial arts styles welcome.
